About Us!
The founders of Angry Nerd Cafe, Kent and Lane, have a few things in common – they both grew up in a small town with not a whole lot to do as kids, and they both consider themselves bookworms with an affinity for comic books. When they met in college, they bonded over the fact that they wished they had a cool place to hang out and study that felt like they could truly be their nerdy selves. The idea for Angry Nerd Cafe was born!
Lane is the brains of the coffee (and treats!) and Kent prides himself as the brains of the atmosphere. Whether you want to "work from here" with friends, or "alone" in good company, Angry Nerd Cafe is a place to bring your authenticity and to-do list. We have reading nooks, fast Wi-Fi, and the place always smells like a cozy cup of coffee (yum!).
We're a bunch of nerds that love coffee, so we thought we'd create a space to share both things with our community. Whether you love the classic or the newer takes on our favorite superheroes, mischief makers and world-changing characters, our place is your place. Bring a friend or two and come enjoy your next cup with us.
